Armenia’s leadership has been experiencing the process of Karabakhization for a long time, local newspaper Hraparak cited Armenian economic analyst Movses Aristakesyan as saying, APA reports.

This process, according to him, has become widespread after the events of 1999.

Karabakhization means that all major business sectors are lead by representatives of the Karabakh clan, more precisely pro-Russia persons, Aristakesyan noted.

“We want to fight for Karabakh and should do so, but meanwhile we lost Armenia’s independence and sovereignty in all fields,” he said.

Newly-appointed Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan is originally from Azerbaijan’s Karabakh.
