Armenian suspect in Karaganda murder is detained

An Armenian man who has been suspected of a murder in Karaganda city was detained, Tengrinews.kz reported.

Armenian national Narek Gururyan, 21, who has been wanted along the lines of murder, was detained in Omsk region of Russia, representative of Kazakhstan’s internal affairs ministry Almas Sadubayev said.

The issue of extradition to Kazakhstan is being discussed at the moment. According to the ministry, Gururyan crossed the border with Russia in the evening of January 1.
