From 3 to 9 December, Baku will host VI Rostropovich International Music Festival.
The festival will be organized by the Culture and Tourism Ministry and supported by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, AzerTAj reports.
According to the Ministry, the festival will involve world famous musicians and crews from Azerbaijan, Russia, Italy and UK – Zubin Metha, Enrico Dindo, Maxim Vengerov, Plamena Mangova, Sergei Krylov, Badri Maisuradze, Janluka Marchiano, Stewart Niles, Rauf Abdullayev, Fuad Ibrahimov, Elvin Hoca Ganiyev, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino symphonic orchestra, the UK and Lithuanian chamber orchestras and the Uzeyir Hajibayli Azerbaijani State Symphonic Orchestra.
