Cairo hosts concert of Egyptian singer and Azerbaijani pianist

The famous Cairo Opera House has successfully hosted a concert of classical music performed by young and talented Egyptian singer Maroua Amir (soprano).

Piano virtuoso was performed by our compatriot, honoured artist of Azerbaijan, professor of the Baku Music Academy, as well as professor and lecturer in piano at the Cairo Conservatoire Arzu Alaskarov, Gun.Az reports.

The performance of the Azerbaijani pianist and Egyptian singer was met with great enthusiasm and was accompanied by thunderous applause.

The concert program included selected classic works by Mozart, Puccini, Bizet, Cilea, Menotti, Kattalani, Offenbach and other great composers.
