ADB President on visit to Azerbaijan

Haruhiko Kuroda

President of the Asian Development Bank Haruhiko Kuroda has launched an official visit to Azerbaijan.

As part of his two-day visit, Kuroda will attend 10th Ministerial Conference to be held under the ADB Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program (CAREC).

The Ministerial Conference will be held on 23-24 November. It is second time that Azerbaijan hosts a similar event. Azerbaijan hosted meeting of CAREC Program member states in 2008.

The Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation, or CAREC, Program is a partnership of 10 countries, supported by 6 multilateral institutions, working together to promote development through cooperation, leading to accelerated growth and poverty reduction.
