Georgia’s Interior Ministry has conducted a special operation in the Azerbaijani-populated Ponichala (Soganliq) settlement in Tbilisi, APA reports.

As a result, a few people were detained on suspicions of illegal drug trafficking. The detainees are said to have been released from prison five or six months ago.

In recent months, more than ten people have been detained in Ponichala on illegal drug trafficking.
