Georgia, Dominican Republic establish diplomatic relations

Georgia and Dominican Republic have signed a protocol on establishing diplomatic relations.

In line with the protocol, the  establishment of diplomatic relations, serves the interests of the peoples of the two countries. In the relations with each other, the sides will adhere to principles of sovereign equality, friendly relations, respect to territorial integrity and inviolability of state borders.

In line with international practice, the parties informed the UN Secretary General about establishment of diplomatic relations. The ceremony was held in New York, at the Georgian permanent office.
