77 directors of Azerbaijani schools study Georgian.

Directors of 77 Azerbaijani schools take part in a seminar to study the state Georgian language, held in Kutaisi. Sources in Georgian Education Ministry told Kavkaz Press that Deputy Minister of Education and Science Koka Seperteladze attended the seminar today.

He noted that this seminar is very important for integration of Azerbaijanis in the Georgian community. "The Ministry also holds other programs on integration of our Azerbaijani countrymen into a single Georgian community, including practice, when our children host each other and familiarize with their traditions and languages. This makes Georgians and Azerbaijanis closer, we have the same programs for national minorities from other places of compact settlement", he said.

The first stage of the seminar is to end in late December, after which all 77 directors of Azerbaijani schools from places of compact settlement will master the main course of Georgian language studies.
