President Saakashvili has not signed a decree on appointing ambassadors of Georgia to nine countries.

Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze says that the candidates of nine ambassadors of Georgia have been supported by lawmakers from both opposition and the majority; however, the procedure has been delayed since the documents were sent to the president`s administration.

"The president says that he respects the parliament elected by Georgian people, but it is unintelligible what is obstructing to the procedure of signing the candidacies of the ambassadors. This artificial delay of the process is absolutely unintelligible for me," Foreign Minister said.
