"Countries does not recognize Nagorno Karabakh as an independent and sovereign countries".

OSCE position in relation with the planned 'elections' in Nagorno Karabakh remains changeless.

Oxu.Az reports that the statement came from the news service for OSCE expressing attitude in relation with the plans of the separatist regime to hold 'municipal elections' in the occupied regions of Azerbaijan.

The news service also recalled the statemnet of the OSCE MG co-chairs dated April 30, 2015.

"According to the statement, in the context of comprehensive resolution of the conflict, we agree with the role of the people of Nagorno Karabakh in terms of self-determination. But neither the co-chairing states, nor other countries recognize Nagorno Karabakh as an independent and sovereign state.

The co-chairs do not regard the results of the planned 'elections' as the right for altering the legal status of Nagorno Karabakh. This does not define the final status of Nagorno Karabakh and influence the talks on the peaceful settlement of the conflict".
