New deputy energy minister of Azerbaijan appointed

Elnur Soltanov has been appointed new deputy energy minister of Azerbaijan, the ministry told Trend Dec. 28.

Earlier, Soltanov served as director of the Caspian Center for Energy and Environment at the ADA University, as well as dean of the University’s faculty of public and international relations.

Soltanov replaced Natig Abbasov, dismissed Nov. 20, 2018.

Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has two deputies - Gulmammad Javadov and Samir Valiyev.
