The President of Azerbaijan signed an order to appoint Elin Suleymanov as Azerbaijan’s ambassador to the United States.

President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to recall Yashar Aliyev from the posts of Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the US and Permanent Observer of Azerbaijan at the Organization of American States, according to www.president.az, official web-site for the president.

The president also signed an order to appoint Elin Suleymanov to the post of Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United States.

By the president’s order Elin Suleymanov was awarded with the diplomatic rank of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary.
