US University hosts seminar on Azerbaijan

On 23 October Princeton University in the State of New Jersey hosted a seminar on the importance of Azerbaijan in the region.

According to the Azerbaijani Embassy in the US, the event was attended by Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the US, Elin Suleymanov, Robert Finn who was charge d'affaires of the US in Azerbaijan was in the early 90's, as well as the faculty staff and students of the University.

The seminar held an exchange of views on the leadership position of Azerbaijan in the region and its successful foreign policy, the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, and US policy in the region.

The event highlighted the role of Azerbaijan in the energy security of the West.

The seminar also gave a high assessment of the situation in Azerbaijan in the field of religious and ethnic tolerance and the role of women in society.
