Lukashenko hopes for Belarus victory in Eurovision-2012 in Baku

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko hopes that his country will win the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Baku in May 2012.

'I believe that Azerbaijan’s experience [on the Eurovision Song Contest] will be useful to Belarusian participants of Eurovision and hospitable land of Azerbaijan, where the contest will be held next year, will bring long-awaited success to Belarus,' it says in Alexander Lukashenko’s congratulatory message to President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion on victory of the Azerbaijani duo in Eurovision-2011 in Düsseldorf.
 
In a message the President of Belarus stresses that the Azerbaijani duo won hearts of “millions of viewers in Europe with a beautiful song, beautiful voice and brilliant choreography."
 
"Their performance was spectacular, modern, and therefore brought deserved success to Azerbaijan," Lukashenko added in his message.
