Second Pecha Kucha Night Baku “Vol2-10” was held at 28 Cinema

The second Pecha Kucha Night Baku “Vol2-10” was held with participation of 350 people at 28 Cinema at the 28 Mall with the support of 28 Cinema and Yaguar energy as part of the “10 il” (10th anniversary) campaign.

The project representative on Azerbaijan, head of the Training and Career Center of Ireli public union, Nihad Allahyarli who made an opening speech at the event noted that the world-famous Pecha Kucha presentations  were organized in Azerbaijan for the first time by Ireli and in 2012 Ireli obtained an official permission for conduction of the PKN events in Azerbaijan. Nihad Allahyarli also added that the first PKN Baku Vol 1 was held at Hezz Club on 25 April 2013.

He was followed by a number of other speakers who succeeded in six different fields. These were Rashad Aliyev- founder of, Ramil Bagirov, editor-in-chief of the Finansist magazine, Rovshan Akbarov-  chairman of the “Tebiet Elmleri’ public union, Jasarat Valehov, Ph.D, TV expert, Rustam Hasanov-IT manager and Ali Hajizade-head of the Hajizade Group company. The speakers made presentations about their achievements and their success record and their messages were received with a high interest among the audience.

Chairman of the Ireli public union Rauf Mardiyev said that Ireli has brought this world-famous brand to Azerbaijan and the presentations were perceived with a great interest among youth. The Ireli chairman said that they will further hold such presentations.

It has to be noted that Pecha Kucha (“to talk” among Japanese) is a format of presentations that originated in Japan and became shortly popular worldwide. Today, Pecha Kucha is held in more than 530 cities of over 120 countries of the world. Azerbaijan is the 171st country hosting the Pecha Kucha Night, while Baku is the 535th city.
