An observation wheel opened in Baku in the new part of the National Seaside Park today at 11 am.

The tickets for a ride in the wheel cost three to five manats depending on people’s age. It costs three manats for children aged 6-12 and five manats for people over 12 years. The ride for children under six is free, Deputy Chief of National Seaside Park Nazim Majidov told earlier.

The wheel makes a complete circle for 30-40 minutes depending on the preset speed.

The construction of the wheel with a height of 60 meters began in 2013.

It has 30 cabins with a capacity of eight people each.

President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse mehriban Aliyeva attended official opening of the wheel a few days ago.

Here are panoramic photos of Baku from the wheel.
