Russian football agent, the current sport director of Kazakh club Okjetpes Rustam Rajabov has compared the development of football infrastructure in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

"Undeveloped infrastructure is the biggest problem of almost all Kazakh clubs," Oxu.Az cites Rajabov who gave an interview to sports.kz, "If you want, I can draw a parallel with Azerbaijan. The salaries in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and the level of championship there are almost equal, but Azerbaijan has gone far ahead of Kazakhstan in infrastructure.

"The clubs provide almost ideal housing conditions to legionnaires. Bases and stadiums are on the highest level in this country. If money is invested in improving infrastructure, the level of championship will increase significantly and Kazakhstan will attract high-quality legionnaires, who will come here not for big money."
