Iran plans to use Azerbaijani satellites

During its visit to Iran on 3-4 July the Azerbaijani delegation held a meeting with representatives of the Iranian organization of radio broadcasting.

According to Oxu.Az, the statement came from sources in the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies.

According to sources in the ministry, during the meeting the sides discussed the issues of broadcasting, regulation of frequencies, mutual support in international organizations, purchase and operation of equipment of preferential terms and reviewed the center of satellite management in the territory of the organization.

"The Iranian side expressed its interest in using the services of Azerbaijani satellites and we advised them to address the respective structure of Azerbaijan - Azercosmos", the ministry said.
