"If you're honest, make your statement and we will finish the job."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Oct. 13 that Turkey "does not need the EU," amid a number of disagreements between the two sides as well as diplomatic tension between Ankara and the U.S, Hurriyet Daily reports.

“If you're honest, make your statement and we will finish the job. We don't need you,” Erdoğan said.
