Armenian foreign minister, Lithuanian deputy minister discuss ties

Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandyan and Lithuanian Deputy Foreign Minister Evaldas Ignatavicius have discussed bilateral relations in Yerevan.

Nalbandyan expressed satisfaction at the development of bilateral ties and said that Armenia is interested in deepening and strengthening mutually beneficial relations with Lithuania.

Ignatavicius praised the friendly relations between the two countries and said that Lithuania intends to take active steps to deepen comprehensive cooperation with Armenia in different spheres.

During the negotiations, both sides attached importance to the effective cooperation of the two countries’ foreign ministries. They  touched upon the course of Armenian–European Union cooperation and discussed the EU Eastern Partnership project.

The ministers also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest, Armenia's Foreign Ministry said.
