Armenia's former defense minister faces charges

Former defense minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan has been charged in line with the March 1, 2008 case, according to

Special Investigative Service did not comment on the reports.

Eight demonstrators and two servicemen of the internal troops were killed in Yerevan on March 1 during the government-opposition resistance following the presidential elections in 2008. Nobody has so far been held accountable for the death of ten people.
