The choice of the route of export of Azerbaijani gas to Europe depends not only on the cost of any project.

There are also other factors, particularly, tariffs on transit and gas prices on the ultimate sales market.

The statement came from president of the State Oil  Company of Azerbaijan Rovnag Abdullayev.

"Today, we are choosing between TAP and Nabucco West. Today we are negotiating with the gas buyers from both the side of the TAP project and Nabucco west.
The final choice of the route of gas export will be defined not only with the cheapness of the pipe but also with the gas price on the markets where it will be supplied by this pipeline", Abdullayev said.

He said there are two criteria for the choice of export route-the low tariff for transit and prices on the eternal markets of sales.

"The final solution on the choice of export route-the low tariff for transit and prices on the final sales markets", R.Abdullayev.
