Volcano eruption in Baku

Last time Keleki volcano erupted in 2001.

Strong eruption of mud volcano Keleki occurred in Baku, Oxu.Az reports citing lent.az.

According to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, the eruption began at 12:30 local time and was accompanied by a strong explosion. Volcanic mass was scattered in a radius of 200 meters.

Currently the specialists carry out necessary safety precautions on the site.
