Eighteen MPs representing Isfahan province in Iran’s parliament have resigned, Iranian MP Akbar Torki said in an interview with Tasnim news agency.

He said that their letters of resignation have been submitted to the Iranian parliament’s presidium.

He noted that the MPs took this step in protest against the withdrawal of water projects of Isfahan from the next year’s budget.
