Safar Abiyev

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev took a stance on Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to the occupied Azerbaijani territories.

Safar Abiyev told journalists that Sargsyan has no right to visit these lands.
“This may be his last visit,” he said.

Touching on the combat readiness of Azerbaijani Army Safar Abiyev said the armed Forces are capable of liberating the occupied lands.

Asked about the recent military exercises of the Armenian army Safar Abiyev said:
“We know everything very well. The enemy can not become active,” he said.

Azerbaijani Defense Minister also said that Turkish military delegation will visit Azerbaijan on November 2.
