Dana Rohrabacher

A draft law by US Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, which considers segregation of the South Azerbaijan, has been handed over to the Foreign Relations Committee of the Congress.

Chairman of the Centre for Defence of Southern Azeri Turks Huseyin Turkelli has told the statement to Gun.Az from Canada.

"The bill presented by Congressman Dana Rohrabacher noted that Azerbaijan was divided into two parts as a result of the Russian-Iranian war in 1826-28.

Besides, it reflects the right of Southern Azeri Turks for self-determination. The draft law also reflects support of the US government for the liberation movement of the South Azerbaijan," he said.
