Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina recognizes sovereignty of Azerbaijan

The House of Peoples (the upper chamber) of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the official document on Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan and the Khojaly genocide - the resolution "On recognition and respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan”.

As the practical result of the successful foreign policy course implemented by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina held on 26 February 2013 on the day of the 21st anniversary of the bloody Khojaly genocide adopted an official document on Armenia and Khojaly genocide-the resolution ‘On recognition and respect to sovereignty and the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan’.

According to sources in the diplomatic office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Azerbaijan, this document became the first document of the kind in the history of the Bosnia and Herzegovina parliament, AzerTAj reports.

Despite the complex political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, all difficulties, pressure and hindrances, the recognition of the Khojaly genocide, the important strategic issue raised by the Azerbaijani state as part of the campaign of Justice for Khojaly implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and promoting our state and national interests is the success of not only the patriots, professional diplomats, but also every Azerbaijani, the logical result of the foreign policy conducted by the country, the definite practical activity, far-seeing and humanistic policy of personally the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
