Azerbaijani man, sentenced to life in 2007, gets sentence reduced

Azerbaijani citizen Zakir Nasirov (born in 1947), who was jailed for life by the country’s Court of Grave Crimes on 16 January 2007, has had his prison term reduced to 15 years upon the presidential order on pardon, APA reported.

 Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on March 16 pardoning a number of people.
