Allahshukur Pashazade

Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade has issued a statement on the deadly attacks committed by Anders Breivik in Norway.

The sheikh, chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Department, urges all Christians to refrain from similar bloody acts and to avoid religious and national discrimination.

Describing the fact that the Christian terrorist does not repent of his actions as a very dangerous sign, the religious leader said that radical Christians devalued a religion which, in fact, had many sacred values.

Pashazade also recalled the recent attempt by a Christian priest to burn copies of the Koran. The Sheikh said similar actions were condemned not only in the Koran, but in the Bible.
