Ronaldo accepts €18.8m deal over tax evasion

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday accepted an €18.8 million ($21.36 million) fine over tax evasion charges, Anadolu Agency reports.

The deal with a court in Madrid included a 23-month suspended jail sentence.

Portugal international Ronaldo was accused of avoiding paying tax when he was playing for Real Madrid between 2010 and 2014 in Spain.
