The youth weightlifting championship continues in Poland’s Zehanuv.

Nailkhan Nabiyev won gold in the weight category below 85 kg. He lifted 332 kg (146+186) and beat silver and bronze winners of Russia Georgiy Kuptsov (326 kg) and Konstantin Roschupkin (324 kg).

Contests have also been held in the weight category below 77 kg. Here, Turan Abdullayev became fourth, lagging behind  the bronze winner just by 1 kilo. Abdullayev’s result is 289 kg. Tofik Allahverdiyev lifted 251 kg and became 13th.

Earlier, in the weight category below 56 kg Pasha Ibrahimli became a champion and Allahyar Abishov (50 kg) and Elkhan Aliguluzade (62 kg) won bronze.
