Azerbaijan, France discuss prospects for cooperation in space industry sphere

Azerbaijani Minister of Communications and High Technologies Ali Abbasov has met the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France Pascal Meunier to discuss prospects for cooperation in the field of space industry, AzerTag reports.

Noting bilateral relations in various fields, including high-tech communications develop confidently, Minister Ali Abbasov stressed that there is solid foundation for further strengthening and expanding mutual cooperation between the two countries.

Hailing the high potential to continue cooperation in the field of space industry, Ali Abbasov praised remarkable achievements of France in this area, adding, Azerbaijan also benefited from this rich experience.

Highlighting cooperation between Azerbaijan and France, the French Ambassador noted successful development of relations in various areas, including in space industry, underlining the increased activity of French companies in Azerbaijan's economy.

Expressing his satisfaction with participation of French companies in launch of Azerbaijan's first and next satellite into orbit, the diplomat noted mutual interest in successful continuation of cooperation. He noted his country is ready for further enhancing cooperation in space industry area.

Ali Abbasov then expressed his gratitude to Pascal Meunier for his efforts to the development of bilateral relations during his diplomatic tenure, wished him success in his future activities. Expressing his confidence that relations between the two countries will further develop dynamically, the diplomat said that he had only good impressions about the country.
