Turkish Premier receives Kuwait Charity Award

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has gone to Kuwait to hold talks with high level officials of the country.

PM Erdogan was welcomed by Kuwait PM Sheikh Nasser Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah in an official ceremony.

The national anthems of Turkey and Kuwait were played, after which Turkish Premier Erdogan inspected the guard of honour.

Later on, Mr. Erdogan and his Kuwaiti opposite number Al Sabah held bilateral and interdelegational meetings.

Turkish PM attended an award ceremony held at Shamiya Girls' College, along with Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf and Prime Minister Al Sabah. Mr. Erdogan was conferred upon the school badge.

Later on, Turkish Prime Minister met Sheikh Nawaf in a private meeting at the Emirates Palace. He also had talks with Kuwait National Assembly Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi and gave him a historical waterpump as present.

Mr. Erdogan will attend Turkey-Kuwait Business Forum meeting and be granted with "Superior Muslim Personality" award by the Sheikh Fahad Al-Ahmad International Charity Award Board.
