Turkish Navy Commander resigns

Commander of the Turkish Navy, Veysel Kösellet, has resigned, Dogan reports.

"Commander of the Navy, Admiral Veysel Kösellet has filed a resignation petition. In accordance with the procedures, the application has been accepted, " the agency quotes Turkish president's spokesman Ibrahim Kalyn as saying at a press conference.
