Azerbaijan to appeal to FIFA over Armenia’s provocation
The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) will appeal to the world’s football governing body FIFA over a provocation committed in a match of Armenian and Romanian national teams, AFFA wrote on its Facebook page.
The so-called “flag” of the separatist regime was hung in a stadium during Wednesday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup European Group J qualifying match between Armenia and Romania.
