Azerbaijani female wrestler captures bronze at European Championships
Azerbaijani female wrestler Tetiana Omelchenko (62kk) has grabbed a bronze medal at the European Championships in Rome, Italy, after defeating Belarus Veranika Ivanova.
Azerbaijan’s national team won record 6 medals in Greco-Roman wrestling for the first time at the European Championships. The team scored 116 points with 2 gold and 4 bronze medals to rank second in the overall medal table.
