Mine fuse blast leaves deminer injured in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil
On August 25, at about 10:00 am, an incident occurred in the village of Huseynalilyar of Jabrayil District of Azerbaijan during the demining of the territory from Armenia-planted landmines.
Deminer Habib Gasimov, born in 1999, sustained a hand injury as a result of the explosion of a mine fuse, the Interior Ministry’s press service told News.Az.
The deminer was hospitalized.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
