Women may be recruited into army in Georgia
Georgia’s parliament has registered a bill on recruitment of women into the army.
The bill has been prepared by Irina Barbakadze, APA reported citing Kavkaz-uzel.
The purpose of the bill is to strengthen the Georgian army, strengthen the defense capability, return the territories and reunite the country.
According to the current law, women have the right to serve in the army on an optional basis.
