World’s tallest building Burj Khalifa in Dubai lit up with the colors of the Azerbaijan flag to mark May 28 – the Republic Day of Azerbaijan.
May 28, 2020, marked the 102nd anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. It was the first democratic republic in the East.
The Republic Day is celebrated as a state holiday on May 28 since 1990.
