6.6-magnitude quake strikes near Kamchatka

A magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in Russia on Friday at 0651 GMT, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake occurred about 185 km southeast of the city, News.Az reports, citing Xinhua.
