Singapore's PAP wins election with 87 of 97 seats, official results show

Singapore's People's Action Party won its 14th successive election on Saturday with 87 of 97 seats in parliament, according to results from the election commission, extending its six-decade rule over the Asian financial hub, News.Az reports citing Reuters.
The PAP had yet to be formally declared winner but had won in 30 of 33 constituencies, the commission said.
