An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 struck West Papua, Indonesia, at 07:46 GMT on Tuesday, according to the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences.

The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) has revised the strength of Tuesday’s earthquake in Indonesia’s West Papua region to magnitude 6.5, up from an earlier estimate of 6.1, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck near the southern coast of West Papua at 07:53:22 GMT on Thursday, according to the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences.
