6.2 magnitude earthquake hits India’s Nicobar Islands

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 struck India's Nicobar Islands on Tuesday, according to the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ).

The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), GFZ said, News.Az reports citing Reuters.
