Azerbaijan eyes lowering upper age limit for conscription

Azerbaijan considers cutting the upper age limit for compulsory military service from 35 to 30 years.

The amendment is part of proposed amendments to the law "On Military Duty and Military Service," News.Az reports.

Under the new proposal, male citizens aged 18 to 30 will be subject to conscription, replacing the current age range of 18 to 35.
