Tajikistan was jolted by a strong earthquake, according to international news agencies, News.Az informs.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) recorded the magnitude of the quake at 5.9 on the Richter scale.
The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 16 kilometers beneath the earth's surface.
