The New Development Bank (NDB), created by BRICS member states, has announced the issuance of five-year bonds worth RMB 6 billion (approximately $845 million) on the Chinese interbank bond market, according to a statement from the bank's press service.

Chinese authorities have agreed to issue a record 3 trillion yuan ($411 billion) in special treasury bonds next year, according to two sources. This move is part of Beijing's strategy to ramp up fiscal stimulus and revive a struggling economy.
