International Airlines Group, the parent company of British Airways, has warned that its annual profit will come in lower than previously expected as surging jet fuel prices and ongoing supply disruptions weigh heavily on the aviation sector.
Shares of British Airways parent company IAG fell almost 10% on Friday after the airline group flagged softness in the U.S. economy market, even as its third-quarter profit met expectations.
