Georgia’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has announced that it will immediately halt its participation in the assembly after the plenary voted to impose strict conditions for ratifying the delegation’s credentials, News.az reports citing foreign media.

The parliamentary delegation of Georgia is ceasing its participation in the work of PACE after the body called for a new election in the country, according to a statement from Georgian Parliament Deputy Speaker Thea Tsulukiani.
