India moved to deepen trade ties with Brazil on Saturday, signing a pact to expand cooperation in mining and minerals as it seeks to meet rising domestic steel demand and support capacity expansion amid a global race for raw materials.

South Korea will pursue the development of hydrogen-based steelmaking technology by 2030 to enhance the global competitiveness of its steel industry and support its goal of achieving carbon neutrality, the industry ministry announced on Thursday.
