Azerbaijan customs seize nearly 80 kg of marijuana in transit truck

During a routine inspection using a trained canine unit, customs officers discovered 79.82 kilograms of marijuana disguised as “lettuce” in a vehicle, News.Az reports, citing State Customs Committee.

The narcotics were carefully packaged to evade detection.

Authorities said the seizure was the result of operational measures targeting illicit drug trafficking, and an investigation into the case is ongoing.
